Why Earn a Career Certificate?

Career Technical Education (CTE) is learning with relevance to the real world, often called contextual learning. Many CTE programs provide you with the chance to gain hands-on experience through work-based learning opportunities. Or, in some cases, prepare you to transfer to four-year institutions.

Certificates are the fastest-growing college credential, with a big wage payoff!

Career Education (also called Career Technical Education or CTE) prepares you for high wage and high demand careers. In an ever-changing job market, Career Education graduates enter the workforce having comprehensive skills and the ability to be innovative critical thinkers.

Moreover, our programs are connected directly with real-world needs. Each Career Education program relies on industry input through Advisory Committees, thus giving our programs access to current and competitive insight. This results in connecting local employers to local talent, who have been trained according to their input.
