Marin County students pursuing a vocational certification or state license may be eligible for scholarships thanks to the Sausalito Rotary and 10,000 Degrees (which manages the application process and awards).
Sausalito Rotary’s Educational Scholarship Fund (SRESF) provides approximately $18,000 in scholarships annually to support students pursuing vocational training in Marin County.
To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in a vocational/career education program and have significant financial need. Recipients can be anyone in the county in need, from recent high school graduates to adults re-entering the workforce.
The scholarships are specifically for students pursuing any type of career technical education – such as any of the certificate or degree programs on marincareers.org – automotive, business and office, multimedia, computer technology, healthcare, public services, and more.
Scholarships will be awarded in just two months (July) – so students are encouraged to apply now!
Preference is given to students residing in Southern Marin (Sausalito, Tiburon, Mill Valley, Marin City).
